Bellingham OB/GYN

Health Care Office Interior Design

NW AIA DESIGN AWARD

This new construction OB/GYN clinic was designed to balance clinical efficiency with warmth, tranquility, and optimism. Working closely with the physicians and staff, we developed an interior architecture that supports operational flow while creating a calming and uplifting experience for patients.

The double-height entry establishes a welcoming first impression, illuminated by a sculptural pendant that introduces soft, organic form into the volume. A custom curved partition featuring a ginkgo leaf motif provides privacy at reception while filtering light and reinforcing a subtle nature-inspired theme.

Within the waiting area, an undulating sculptural wall creates texture and movement, complemented by warm golden tones, natural light, and curated landscape imagery. The space is composed to ease anxiety and quietly celebrate the anticipation inherent in maternity care.

Corridors and exam rooms continue the residential-inspired palette, integrating wood-tone plank flooring, hospitality inspired textiles and wall coverings, and carefully controlled lighting. The result is a cohesive healthcare environment that supports staff efficiency while offering patients a sense of reassurance, dignity, and comfort.

The idea was simple: to help business owners take the guesswork out of web design and make their online presence something they’re genuinely excited about. I work closely with passionate business owners and community leaders, turning their vision into reality with sites that not only look great but also connect with their customers and help their businesses grow.

I bring a mix of marketing theory, intuition, and my creative touch to every project.
