BAJA MINING CORPORATION

Corporate Office Design

This project received the 2010 Interior Design Institute of BC Design Award

The Client desired an elegant and established style for their new 20,000sf office space. We designed an elegantly appointed elevator lobby, waiting area and reception, and conference boardroom. The Client preferred all conference rooms and upper management private offices to inhabit the perimeter of the building, so in order to allow natural light into the interior spaces, we designed undulating, wood-framed, full-height glass walls to enclose the perimeter offices, and provide an organic flow to the corridors. To encourage staff interaction, we designed open office workstations, an employee bistro, coffee bar gathering spaces, casual meeting break-out areas, and a staff locker room for runners, walkers, and cyclists. The new offices were highly celebrated by the upper management, staff, Board of Directors, and their clients.

“Angela was the creative brain behind the design of our beautiful new office space. She helped bring my vision for our space to life and our company now enjoys a stunning new space that makes coming to work easy and fun!”
